
Do you love the outdoors and adventure? Do you want to learn how to be a leader? Come spend time in the great outdoors with friends both old and new. Get to know each other through team building games, sleep under the stars, train to become a counselor, and then become a leader during PFI summer camp- Know your Farmer!
Who: Youth ages 14 and above are invited. Bring a friend!
When: Monday, July 12. Please arrive by 2:00pm. The leadership program ends Wednesday when summer camp begins and you get to be a counselor!
Where: Scattergood Friends School, 1951 Delta Ave, West Branch, IA 52358
Cost: $150 (includes leadership program and summer camp). Please register by June 25.
Monday: Camp out under the stars in a re-constructed prairie and sit around the campfire. Get to know each other through fun team-building games.
Tuesday: Get a glimpse of what summer camp will be like, and have a part in the planning! Learn about yourself by seeing how you would react in challenging situations and real-life scenarios.
Wednesday: Learn about the farm and then get ready for the campers to come!
Get together with other kids and learn about farmers, why we need them, and what the world would be like without them. Come hear from farmers and get to do a little farming yourself! Farm kids come too! You will be able to offer tips on what real farm life is like!
Who: PFI camp is a family camp for people of all ages. Bring a friend! Children 7-13 are welcome to come alone, but those 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
When: Please arrive by 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 14. Please pick up your children at 11:00am sharp on Saturday, July 17.

Wednesday: Get to know everyone with a fun game, and get introduced to Scattergood Friends School and their farm.
Thursday: Get your hands dirty while planting, weeding, and learning about raising food. Enjoy the fruits of your labor at supper!
Friday: Be a real farmer for a day—corral sheep, move fences, and collect eggs. After sunset sit around the fire and tell stories like the cowboys did.
Saturday: Get ready to share what you learned about farms and farmers with your family!
