Using Sustainability Metrics to Capture Changes On-Farm

Practical Farmers of Iowa and the Sustainable Food Lab launched a pilot project to meet the needs of small grain farmers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin to improve production. As a part of that work PFI and SFL work with food and beverage companies to learn more about the sustainability benefits of growing corn and soybeans in an extended crop rotation with small grains and green manures. This webinar takes a deeper dive to explain what sustainability tools we will use for this project to measure changes on-farm from adding small grains to a corn-soybean system.
