Small Grains Conference


Rotationally Raised — Making Small Grains Work

This day-long conference will cover a variety of topics about growing small grains and the benefits of an extended rotation. Nine breakout sessions throughout the day will include sessions on integrating animals with a small grains operation, marketing small grains, the agronomy behind successfully raising small grains and more. Lunch served and a reception will follow the conference.

Parking: Free event parking will be located across the street to the south of the Centennial Student Union in lot 4a, with access from S Rd. Additional paid parking will be available in the Visitor Pay Lot entered via Ellis Ave. For a parking map, click here.

Accomodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the AmericInn Hotel and Suites Mankato for conference attendees. If you would like a room for July 29 or 30 at the reduced block rate request the “Small Grains Conference” block when making your reservation. Reserve by July 15 to access the reduced block rate. Reservations made after July 15 will be at regular hotel rates.
